Seaside Stash Busting Blanket CAL

I just love starting new projects and in the space of a week I have started two new blankets. Oops! You may have seen my blanket related confession on Instagram recently – in the last 15 months I have made at least 17 blankets (and those are just the ones I can remember…) I think I may have a small addiction!

When I saw Coastal Crochet’s Seaside Stash Busting Blanket CAL over on Instagram I knew I’d end up joining in, especially when I started to see so many gorgeous blankets starting to take shape!

I started a week ago and found it really easy to catch up as there are only four rows to work on every week.

I’ve posted a couple of progress pictures on Instagram and have had such a lovely response about the colours I’m using in my blanket, so I thought I’d share the ones I’ve used so far. All yarn is Stylecraft Special DK…

Week 1: Storm Blue, denim, storm blue

Week 2: Pistachio, duck egg blue with cream bobbles

Week 3: Sage, petrol with mustard accents

Week 4: Denim, lime

Week 5: Storm blue, duck egg blue

Week 6: Silver, sherbet, pistachio, turquoise

Week 7: Lapis with meadow accents, duck egg blue, storm blue

Week 8: Storm blue with gold bobbles, petrol

Week 9: Pistachio, cream, mustard, duck egg blue

Week 10: Denim, storm blue
